Activities

At Jen's Special Place we hold social evenings once a month centered around a specific theme or activity. Each activity is designed to support your child's social, emotional and creative development and hopefully bring a little light relief from the grief they feel everyday.

Craft activities have included things such as making stress-balls, memory boxes, card making and window displays. Each activity we do helps to stimulate a child’s creativity, helps them to express themselves and in some cases create management tools which they can use outside our social evening. This can also be a time when we remember a loved one; often letting go of balloons in memory of those we have lost but still love.

Group time is designed to help children explore feelings safely within a group environment, support them in making friends and to help them feel part of the JSP community. It is here we welcome new families and celebrate birthdays.
